June Favourites

Hey Guys,
I hope you all had a good weekend and are enjoying the lovely sun!
I feel like I haven't done a favourites in ages, so without further a do.
Here are my June Favourites

Skincare

La Roshe Posay 24Hr Intense Radiance moisturiser

I recently bought this moisturiser in an attempt to cure my dehydrated skin. This moisturiser has done a fantastic job. It has made my skin look plump & glowy. Most importantly I now don't have a dry flaky forehead that stings when I wash it. TMI?  It also keeps my skin soft on days I forget to moisturise which is fantastic.

Beauty

Smashbox Full Exposure Palette

I have been lusting at this palette for a while & was lucky enough to get it for my birthday .I am in love with the colours in this palette. I like how there are an equal amount of matt colours as glittery & shimmery. I do need to play around with it more & test out all of the colours. But so far I have been loving this the past month.

Topshop Highlighter in 'Polish'

I got this for my birthday & ohh it's so purty. I never used highlighter as I didn't like the idea of putting anything shimmery on my face. But lately I have been loving how it looked on other people & wanted to try it for myself. This highlighter adds a subtle and natural glow. I have been wearing it  since I got it,
Why haven't I tried highlighter sooner? (Thanks Chummy)

Real Techniques Buffing Brush

I have been using this brush instead of my Real Techniques Stippling Brush since Christmas. I defiantly prefer this brush as it blends really well & makes foundation a lot easier to apply. Its also really soft. It cannot be bought separately as its apart of the Core Collection by Real Techniques. But its worth buying the set just for this brush.

Revelon 24Hr Colour Stay Foundation

I recently purchased this foundation as I wanted to try something new & heard a lot of good things about it. I have been wearing it for the past month. Its very natural yet buildable, I like to wear this during the day as it leaves a natural and dewy finish. I picked up the one aimed towards dry/normal skin but Revlon also do a version more suitable to oily and combination skin. A must recommend.

Music & Other

Daughter - Youth
I talked about this song in my recent post about my favourite song lyrics. I was first introduced to this song when I heard a cover of it on Youtube. I liked the song but forgot about it, until I heard it on a Buzzfeed video. Since then I haven't stopped listening to it.

Shane Dawson's Podcast

I have been loving Shane Dawson lately, I have always watched his videos but in the last month I watched his movie 'Not Cool' & bought his book 'I Hate Myselfie'. Which I recommend if you are looking for a laugh. But my personal favourite are Shanes podcast 'Shane And Friends' with Jessica Buttafacco. Its free on iTunes if you want to listen. They have some great guests like Miss Fame from RuPauls Drag Race & MyLifeasEva from Youtube.

Gossip Girl
I finished Gossip Girl, all 6 seasons. I loved it so much & now I'm so sad its over. I cried like a baby for almost the entire final episode. The whole cast was amazing especially Ed Westwick he had me fooled with that accent. I don't want to ruin it on anyone so I won't say too much about it. But I don't know what to do with myself now that its over. However, I do have Orange Is the new Black & Pretty Little Liars to catch up on.

Be sure to let me know what you have been loving the past month

XOXO,
Gossip Girl

  1. The eye shadow palette looks amazing - such lovely colours. I've been meaning to try that Revlon foundation for ever, I'm getting a bit bored of the Bourjois one I've been using for ages! x
