Autumn Haul - Forever 21, Lush, Boots etc.

Hey Guys,

I hope you are all having a good day.
I know I have been away for a little while - my life has been a little hectic recently with school.
But today I have a haul for you.

So a while ago I went to Dublin shopping with my mam, sister & my best friend. It was such a cute little day out. For so long, I have been wanting to have a day in Dublin solely dedicated to shopping. We devised a plan to start with the shops that we didn't have in Galway, first.
Starting with ..

Forever 21

Shakespeare Jumper
When I saw this jumper the inner nerd in me screamed out. I have always had a bit of a soft spot for William Shakespeare since coming across his work at school. The jumper has a quote from Hamlet which consequentially I am currently studying. I have never seen anything like this before & I think its really unique. I can already tell that I will be living in this during Autumn & Winter.

Grey Mock Neck T-Shirt
I have actually been wearing this a lot recently I really like how it looks with a green army jacket. Its so easy to just throw on & run out the door. I've also been really liking mock necks recently.

Bar Necklace
I have been on the hunt for a necklace like this for a while & was so happy when I saw it in Forever21. If you read my last favourites you will know that I have recently gotten into wearing necklaces. The chain its self is a silver colour and the bar is gold. I like how simple & versatile this piece is & I can wear it with either silver or gold jewellery. If you are looking for reasonably priced jewellery  I defiantly recommend Forever21. It was a struggle not to buy everything in sight.

Boots

Maybeline Instant Age Rewind Eraser
I have heard a lot about this concealer & it's been on my list of  'beauty products I want to try' for quiet some time now. I was looking at pictures of my last night out with the girls & realised that my under-eyes were waaayyy too bright. So what better excuse then to pick up this Maybeline one. I have only tried it out once or twice but already I have noticed that it looks much better. I do only
have one complaint & that is there were only 3 colours available to choose from.

Penneys/Primark

Wet & Wild Megalast Nail Polish in 'Bite the Bullet'
Originally I was going to repurchase Sugar Coat by Wet & Wild which is a light pink shade. But I think they might have changed the formula because everywhere I have looked it is now an off white colour. Its was one of my favourite shades so that's annoying. But while I was at the Wet & Wild stand I saw this purple/plum colour & thought it was be a nice shade for Autumn.

Lush

Lush's Catastrophe Fresh Facemask
This was my first time in Lush since I was 11. So needless to say I was very excited. I knew I wanted to get a facemask but I hadn't a clue which one. After talking to an employee about my skin she recommended the Castrophe Fresh Facemask. I have been trying it out over the last while & at first I didn't notice much difference. But after continuous use it calm down my blemish prone forehead &
really moisturised my skin. I just wish there was a Lush near me so I could repurchase this.

Easons

A Work In Progress by Conor Franta
I have been waiting for Conors book to come to Ireland since the book was released in the USA. I finally found it in Easons after checking about 20 times
haven't gotten around to reading it yet but it is very ascetically pleasing.
If you don't know Conor Franta he is a 23 year old Youtuber & and this book is written by him based on his life so far. Including themes of sexuality, body image & fame on Youtube.

If you guys didn't know Nixie-Pixie made the longlist for The 2015 Blog Awards Ireland for the 'Best Youth Blog' & 'Best Beauty Blog' categories. I honestly didn't expect to make the list & I am very grateful to anyone who has ever read or commented on this little blog.
You da best!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this guys, let me know what you have recently bought or tried out.
Have a good weekend!

Love always,
Nixie xx

  1. I'm going to Dublin next week and I really want to check out Lush (I've never been!) I don't like baths though so I don't want to get a bath bomb haha. I think the skincare sounds great so might give it a try, also - the shower gels! I'll probably just end up smelling everything haha :P x
